GROVE HOUSE
On a secluded and wooded site, the clients wanted to dramatically modernize the home through an extensive renovation and multiple additions – opening up the floor plan and blending indoors and outdoors in the process. The renovation commenced with a focus on the common areas of the home. With several walls removed and a newly outfitted cathedral ceiling, the redesign highlights the chef’s kitchen. Cues like the large corner window in the living room pay homage to the existing mid-century design elements of the home while adding contemporary refinements to the home.
