TENSILE STEEL RAILING SYSTEM

Our team utilized their handcrafting expertise to create a modular railing system in this Oakland home. The prefab assembly for railing tiles was crafted by implementing reuse of cutoff ipe material with flitch-plates and clamping details. Single panels of ipe were split into two and mirrored. The railing system seamlessly embellishes the deck – maximizing views of the hills, trees, and Bay that the home resides in without the use of cable rails.
