Design Draw Build design built the entirety of this modern inn upon the foundation of a 150-year-old farmhouse located at Fort Bragg. Sitting atop two seismic faults in the Mendocino coast surrounded by redwoods – Design Draw Build built vertical bridges on this luxurious ranch in the form of chimneys. By implementing fortified construction techniques from resilient structures like bridges, our team built chimneys that can withstand seismic activity in an area that is prone to them. 

The stone, wood, and glass used during the construction of this handcrafted building were locally-sourced. Furthermore, most of the materials used, including old-growth redwoods and one-ton boulders were reclaimed from the property itself. The ornately modern design of the inn creates a warm and inviting space for all its guests that effortlessly integrates with the natural environment it occupies.
