Cities across the US are facing an ongoing affordable housing crisis, none more so than the Bay Area. In the past decade, Accessory Dwelling Units – commonly referred to as ADUs – have emerged as a strategy to increase housing density through urban infill targeted at single-family neighborhoods. Co-ADU is cultivating new models of development that address these barriers through innovative construction and land-use strategies, ultimately reducing costs across all aspects and phases of ADU construction.
