Transitional Services for Youth and Family – Burlington, VT
Following the successful launch/design of the Fuse Marketing Mill Space in 2009, the director of Transitional Services for Youth and Family called DDB principal Tyler Kobick to redesign a 4500 sq. foot space for their growing psychology and educational non-profit. Tyler teamed up with another local architect Diane Gayer to co-redesign the space where they requested, more fun, more light, commercial kitchen with dining room, a looser office plan, and a central space for youth to gather and hang out without the television as the main focus.
Over the following months, DDB teamed up yet again with local contractor to take the ‘design elements’ of the space. DDB construction managed the entire work and physically built many of the installations including all lighting, new walls, kitchen build out, and new surfaces.
